I had the pleasure of attending the 2012 Peter Read Miller Sport Photography workshop in Denver CO last week. This workshop shows photographers how to improve their Sports Photography and each day we shot a different sport and worked on editing and critique the work. We covered the following sports..

I plan on attending the workshop next year. I got to rub elbows with some pretty cool photographers from around the world. I also got input from Peter Read Miller himself a world famous sports photographer who has worked for Sports Illustrated for close to 30 years. I learned more about the business of photography and what makes a great photo as opposed to just an OK photo. I plan to use the skills learned during the workshop to improve my photography. All in all I had a great time. 

PS. When laying on the ground in Colorado to shoot pictures of Mountain Bikers watch out for the Cactus growing all over the area. :)
